Happy Dress Shopping

I just want to share with you some really nice dresses that I got in Robinson's Galleria mall . I got the dresses from PD & Co. and Freeway.  I frequent Robinson's Galleria a lot . When I wait for my daughters to get out from their classes, I spend my time in Marie France Robinson's Equitable Tower branch doing all their wonderful treatments for my body and I also have my facial treatments in Facial Care in the same floor.  I am so happy that both are so conveniently close by and they open really early. Marie France opens at 7am while Facial Care opens at 8am. So I am usually their first client. Because of its proximity and early opening, I get to do all my treatments regularly and get it out of the way  early on the day. At about 11 am, I'm done. I get to do all my errands, my work, and get to do a little shopping or grocery in between before it's time to pick up my daughters. And just last week, I did an unplanned shopping because as I was looking for a dress for my daughter Icee's piano recital which was last Saturday, I found some really nice dresses for myself that I couldn't resist buying.

The dresses I bought are from local brands Pd & Co. and Freeway. I was so impressed with the dresses from Pd & Co. If you are into dainty, printed or lace dresses and blouses, Pd & Co. is the one for you.  They are very simple , yet very appropriate for mommies like me. I love that they have dresses that are casual enough to wear everyday yet can be dressy with just the right accessories. It can take you from grocery shopping, to PTC, to dinner out with friends or hubby. Very chic and comfortable at the same time !! Effortlessly put together!!!

So next time you go dress shopping, do go through our local brands. They are affordable, well made and you'll be supporting our local brands too which is always a good thing :) !! Happy shopping

This red and black flattering dress  I got on sale for  P699.00 ONLY from FREEWAY!

This is what I wore to Icee's piano recital last Saturday, July 26.  My favorite among the three that i bought is this dress from Pd & Co.. I am partial to striped dresses or blouses or anything stripes or nautical print. So when I saw this and tried it on and the fit was perfect, i could not NOT buy it!!!

Khaki shirt dress from Freeway. Very nice fit.

Three Girls and a Mom

I have always felt incredibly blessed to have been given by Our Dear God , the most beautiful daughters Gary and I could ever have.  Everyday they bring so much joy and inspiration to our lives.  When they came into my life, I never thought I could love anybody as I love them. They are the most precious, dearest in my life.  I cannot imagine a life without them.  Before getting married and having kids, I never really thought I'd be the kind of Mom that I am now. Even my own mom, didn't think I can be this patient and hands-on as a mother.  I'm with them 24/7, I bring them to and fetch them from school everyday . I tutor them and help them in their school lessons, projects, etc.  I tend to all their needs ( every little detail) and I try to be as supportive to all their needs, wants and interests as much as I can ( having to give all three of  them equal, undivided attention can be a challenge though :P).  But when I became Mom, first to Icee, then Gabbi and then 11 months after came Gerri, the love that I felt and came out of me was just pure , unconditional love. I'm sure most of the Moms out there know the feeling.  It's like you don't know exactly what to do, if you are  doing it right or if you might make a mistake but what's for sure is that you will do everything in your power to give them everything that you think is good, right and the best.

So, having such
wonderfully talented daughters is such a beautiful, sweet icing on the cake. My girls have different personalities. Icee is the musically-inclined , happy go lucky girl who loves make-up and following popular youtubers that she wants to be a youtuber herself. She doesn't like things that are too feminine like flowers and pastel. She likes black and purple . She's my complete opposite in the shopping department as she doesn't like to shop that much and just buys stuff that she needs and has no patience to look around and shop all day. She said she wants to be a singer .

Gabbi's 1st Art Exhibit - December 2013

Gabbi is the serious, girly-girl, "manang" type who is very obedient, a good listener , remembers everything and follows everything to the book. She is very independent and such a dependable person.  She is also the artist as she likes painting and has joined her first ever art exhibit last year along with her fellow art students.  She wants to be an actress when she grows up (Oh my...)  .

And my youngest Gerri is the naughty little girl who has perfect comedic timing as she is the one that can really make us all laugh. She never fails to amuse us with her "hirits" and uber entertaining antics.  She is also the most fashionista among the three and wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up.  She has an innate talent for hosting ( I think ) based on the videos that she and her Ate Icee make. ( I will post that on a separate entry ) She also dances and moves very well and poses like a model without me or anyone coaching her.

As a mother, I try my best to bring out the best in them, showing them what they can be and hoping that I could guide them correctly to the path they want to take. With their different personalities, as you can see, each have different interests too so that means, they each have their own activities . Three (3) different interests  = Three  (3) different activities =  ONE (1) VERY BUSY MOM.

LOVES of my life

Monday, July 21, 2014

I have been away from the spotlight for quite sometime now. I randomly guest in TV shows- talk shows and drama shows once in a while. My last full teleserye was two (2) years ago in ABSCBN 2 called PINTADA.  I must admit that I miss it sometimes... I actually miss it a lot .  I miss being made up , dressing up for occasions, and the glamour of showbusiness.  But on the other side, though I have not been that busy career - wise, I have been super busy, non-stop,  24/7 by being a hands-on, doting mom to my three (3) beautiful girls- Icee, Gabbi and Gerri - and wife to my handsome hubby, Gary Estrada.  This "role", I realize really entails my 101% attention that's why I find my days quite occupied and full even without a show , taping or shooting to go to.  And the great part of it is, I enjoy it immensely. I love being with my girls and my hubby. I love that I get to spend time with them.  I love that I get to bring them to school and fetch them as well every single day.  Yes I must admit, there are time when I need a break but when I do get one, I miss them right away and I can't wait to get back to them again.  So that's my main role now. A role that I'm sure most of the MOMS out there would agree with me is the BEST ROLE there is. Just a smile, hug or kiss from my girls melts all my stress. I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world!!!  Here are just some of our family pictures to show just a glimpse of my loves, my life, my treasures - now and forever.
